Program Note for the BBC Proms

I was invited to write the program note for Alexander Tsfasman’s Jazz Suite for piano and orchestra for the final night of the BBC Proms. Yuja Wang performed the four-movement suite, which highlights both Tsfasman’s conservatory training and his love of early American jazz. Read my program note here.
